Miami Photo Festival

This year, Miami is the theme of the contest and exhibit. The City will be featured in the images of photographers that captured the beauty of the Magic City, and its people.

WHY?

Miami can be the rich and famous' background in the news, but the Magic City is also a place where all kind of different communities melt, live, and prosper. Miami Photo Salon 2014 explores the world of real people making things happen in local news, on sports, business, jobs, real estate, shopping, health, travel, entertainment, and similar. This Salon exhibition will bring to the general public a fascinating look into a multicultural population that often goes unnoticed. 

WHO?

Artists, galleries, collectors, professionals, enthusiasts and inquisitive minds will gather this fall to enjoy an ambitious, high-level program that emphasizes the diversity and quality of the artists and works presented by participants.

HOW?

All photographers having images of Miami will be able to participate and present their work to the Jury. A Call for Artists will be online soon - by the end of this month-, entries will be received during the month of July ant the jury will be working on the selection in the second half of August.

WHEN?

The executive committee of the Festival is working hard  to take care of every detail of the Festival. This photo festival will take place in different venues of Miami in November, 2014. The Miami Photo Salon will open the Fine Art Season just before Art Basel and the Visual Art Fairs such as Red Dot that take place every year in Miami during the first week of December.

WHAT?

Prizes and rewards for over $5,000 are waiting for the participants to make an impression in the jury. In addition, the Jury will select 200 images for the the exhibit from the huge amount of entries expected. Authors selected will be listed in the catalog, in the event web site, and at the entrance of the Salon.
